This column is will be about Ash and Misty's Love/Hate relationships. Ash:It is quite difficult to see that Ash likes Misty, but if you watch very closly(and I'm not talking going up to the tv screen and watch), you can see that Ash likes Misty. For example, the whole party is knocked unconcious, and Ash is the first to wake up, what does he do, he looks around for Misty! He makes sure that Misty is ok, THEN he makes sure that the third party member is ok (ie. Tracy,Brock). Misty:Misty, on the other hand, is alot more emotional and shows her feelings toward Ash alot more but it is hard for some people to see that Misty likes Ash just because they fight alot, and I'll tell you that later, for now I'm gonna talk about Misty(Duh). If you watch them very carefully, you can see that she likes Ash. For example, remember the Lavender Town episode, where Ash and Pikachu get killed by that chandelier, and when Misty and Brock enters into the tower, they find him dead, Misty comes to tears, and than they find out that Ash and Pikachu is alive, Misty stops crying but still in tears and acts as if she is mad at him but is actually really happy. And another example was on the Pokemon 2000 movie. When the party lands on the island, they meet up with some people who are native there. They have a ritual party where Melody (a girl) chooses Ash as the chosen one, and kisses him which is when Misty gets really jealose. And later Misty denies that she is Ash's girlfriend but you can tell that she's lieing because she added TOO much detail when she denied that she was Ash's girlfriend. And around end, Ash is unconcious in the water, Melody says that she's gonna go out and save him, but then Misty says that she's gonna save him because she will always be beside him, and then she goes out to save him. tracy was beside them so I'm guessing that Tracy knows this but Ash doesn't, I think. Now I'll tell you about why they have this type of relationship. The relationship that they have is where you don't have any soft spots on you, but you secretly like the other person. This is hard for some people to understand so don't frustrate. But if you watch Malcom in the Middle, remember the episode where Reese likes this girl and instead of saying that he liked her, but he always ended up teasing her, well, this situation is sort of similar to that. |
